Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of recent relevant experience.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficient data entry and scheduling software use.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clinicians, staff, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scheduling for surgical and specialized procedures for assigned departments.
• Coordinate surgical services with physicians' offices and related departments.
• Verify room and equipment availability.
• Document patient procedures and physician information; log completed procedures.
• Generate a surgical procedure charge sheet when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by manager while ensuring schedule accuracy.
