BRAINS WORKGROUP, INC. seeks a Senior Support Engineer (L1/L2) with strong COLLINE collateral management expertise for a 6-month contract in the New York area. The role requires hands-on Unix, shell scripting, and SQL skills, plus production support and DR coordination.

Hybrid work setup allows 1 day on-site per week; DOE rate offered is $65-74/hour on W2, with C2C possible. 10+ years in financial services/tech are preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or similar field.

• Strong COLLINE Collateral Management expertise and Unix/Shell/SQL proficiency.

Senior Support Engineer (L1/L2)

Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for hands-on Senior Support Engineer with COLLINE (Collateral Management) expertise.

This role is hybrid commute (only 1 day on-site per week).

This is 6 months contract with possible extensions or option to hire.

Rate: $65-74/h on W2 DOE, possible C2C as well.

Job Description:

• Support Engineer with 10+ years of overall experience in financial services and technology domains.
• Proven expertise in Collateral Management (COLLINE) strong technical proficiency in Unix, Shell scripting, and SQL.
• Highly skilled and expert in all technical aspects of Colline application (System setup, Vendor Vermeg Third-Party Agent, Third-Party Custodian, Databases and SWIFT/AcadiaSoft connectivity) , user support.
• Good to have prior experience on Global one, FIS Phase 3 vendor applications.
• Unix & Shell Scripting: Hands-on expertise in developing, testing, and deploying scripts for automation and release management.
• Experienced with Tidal jobs for batch monitoring.
• Experienced in change management, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality Production support in complex banking environments.
• Experienced in coordinating Disaster Recovery Exercise.

• Providing L1/L2 support coverage.
• Resolving user Inquiries and handling Production Incidents, Root cause Analysis, Incident Mgmt.
• Experienced with Sql, ETL ,Linux, Windows
• User access reviews, Audit reviews, IDM reviews, User access setup.
• Help in coordinating/Managing DR flips
• Supporting Tidal jobs for batch monitoring.

Education:

Bachelor in Computer Science, Information systems or similar field.
