Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Senior Planner

Location: Greater Albany Area

A market leading manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Planner that will be responsible for strategic management, inventory, and supplier management. This is a newly created position that will work diligently to forge longstanding partnerships and implement effective planning strategies. This company has facilities across the country as well as Canada and is looking to expand very quickly! While production is continually increasing, they value quality products being created and will continue to strive for nothing but the best for their consumers.

The Senior Planner will be responsible for the following:

• Analyze material requirements and provide forecasts
• Manage movement of materials from suppliers to external warehouses
• Proactively collaborate with the sourcing team on any sourcing challenges
• Maintain the SAP planning system to ensure all item level planning attributes are accurate
• Understand/manage safety stock/inventory targets for various regions/plants

The Senior Planner should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Operations/Logistics, Math/Statistics, Business)
• Previous experience in SAP or other ERP systems
• Preferred Certifications (APICS Certification, Lean Certification)
• Ability to take initiative and deliver tangible results within deadlines
• Strong collaboration, communication, and listening skills

This is a full-time hybrid position in the greater Albany NY region.
