This position will be responsible for maintaining Insurance Demand and Supply Data feeds, generating device procurement forecasts across all clients (including CPO solutions), plans to re-manufacture for programs that need repair plan coverage, and partner with the actuarial team to maintain accurate device level claims and candidate forecasts. Succeeding in performing this role will facilitate excellent decision making by Demand planning and operations.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- This role is responsible for partnering with the actuary team to provide forecasts and improvement feedback. Help communicate supply chain impacts on the forecasting process
- Provide input into advanced exchange device mix in the financial re-forecast process
- Coordinate biweekly updates vs plan for the financial re-forecast meeting
- Quarterly Advanced Exchange mix assumption changes for the RF process
- All US DCC insurance planning data, pipeline updates, and reports (on-hand inventory, open PO’s, WIP)
- Responsible for planning data maintenance, maintaining device migration matrices, device tier and technical specs, and device life cycle management
- Ensure all supported planning tools are working accurately and as expected, technology documentation is complete and accurate, and that appropriate security compliance and business continuity/disaster recovery procedures are developed and maintained
- Ensure that a proper control structure and escalation path is in place and is being followed and monitored for data discrepancies
- Collaborate with other IT departments/disciplines to ensure that changes to environments are instituted at an appropriate level of quality, cost, and architectural consistency
- Perform audits of services, systems, planning tools on a regular basis
- Planning tool development and maintenance
- Develops training materials for team members related to the planning tools deployed across the organization
- Responsible for documenting controls and standards for planning system
- Create new operational guidelines, as needed
- Monitor planning system workflow and processes to maximize productivity
- Recommend procedural changes as needed and implement those changes as directed
- Client device procurement projections for all clients with the requirement, develop and deliver any client related candidate projections/cross dock plans
- CPO Solutions/Trade Desk CPO procurement projections
- Standard Repair Planning candidate forecasts, planning assistance and support
- Order Management system migration setup
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- Bachelors’ degree in Supply chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Operations, or Finance
- 10 years supply chain planning experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL and SQL Developer
- Advance knowledge in Excel and Microsoft office Suite
- Ability to communicate effectively cross functionally
- Must perform duties under deadline pressure in a fast-paced, high volume, multi-office work environment
- In addition, the ability to prioritize, plan, deal with difficult situations and effectively communicate orally and in written form is essential to the success of this position
- Position requires the ability to work off hours at time to work through system issues and provide support and problem escalation as required
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
- CPIM or other related Supply Chain Certifications
- Knowledge and experience in Tableau, Power Bi and/or other Business analytics tools
- Knowledge and experience with forecasting/Planning tools like ACPC
