Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist based in the United States. You will decide what, when and where to supply for multiple production sites, balancing supply and demand across horizons to maximize product availability and supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities include coordinating internal demand, optimizing inventory, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to handle unplanned events. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at U.S. E6 or Canadian PO2 or higher is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Generates a time-phased supply schedule to fulfill business requirements in the short-term, considering plant constraints.
• Determines and/or executes the most effective regional or global sourcing rules.
• Implements external manufacturing agreements or executes existing ones.
• Owns and operates site or regional planning models.
• Acts as site coordinator for internal demand, utilities, or environmental operations.
• Monitors and ensures inventory levels meet the plan.
• Addresses supply issues such as capacity constraints or shortages.
• Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, and partners during unplanned events.
• Maintains production parameters and master data to support planning.
