Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist to determine what, when, and where to supply for multiple sites, balancing supply and demand and optimizing inventory and service levels.

The role involves regional/global sourcing rules, external manufacturing agreements, and coordination with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of experience, and is able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience; U.S. work authorization required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• No visa sponsorship available for this U.S. based position.
• APICS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generates a time-phased supply schedule to fulfill business requirements in the short-term, considering plant-wide constraints.
• Determines and/or executes effective regional or global sourcing rules.
• Implements external manufacturing agreements or executes existing ones.
• Owns and operates site or regional planning models and ensures efficient use of information technology.
• Coordinates internal demand, utilities or environmental operations for a location.
• Monitors inventory levels and ensures volumes meet the plan.
• Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, and partners to handle unplanned events.
• Maintains production parameters and master data for planning.
• Supports global supply chain initiatives across the business and shared services.
