Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist based in the United States. You will decide what, when, and where to supply for multiple production sites, balancing supply and demand to optimize product availability and asset utilization.

You will lead planning efforts, collaborate across functions, and drive continuous improvement in scheduling and data governance. You will generate time-phased schedules, manage inventory health, and coordinate internal demand with external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Generates a time-phased supply schedule to fulfill business requirements in the short term, considering plant-wide constraints and inventory targets.
• Determines and/or executes the most effective regional or global sourcing rules.
• Implements external manufacturing agreements or executes agreements already in place.
• Owns and operates site or regional planning models and ensures efficient use of information technology.
• Serves as a local site coordinator/planner for integration of internal demand, utilities or environmental operations.
• Routinely checks and tracks inventory quantities and statuses to ensure volumes meet the plan.
• Identifies, prioritizes and addresses supply issues such as capacity constraints or product shortages.
• Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics and partners to meet obligations in unplanned events.
• Maintains production parameters (material masters, work centers, routings) for effective planning.
• Follows best practices and governance over master data.
