Job summary

Dow Inc. in Midland, MI is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist who will decide what, when and where to supply for multiple production sites, balancing supply and demand to optimize product availability and asset utilization.

You will lead regional/global sourcing rules, manage site planning models, and collaborate with customer service, manufacturing, logistics to address issues and maintain data accuracy. APICS certification and SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• U.S. work eligibility required; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Generates a time-phased supply schedule to fulfill business requirements short-term with plant-wide constraints.
• Determines and/or executes the most effective regional or global sourcing rules.
• Implements external manufacturing agreements or executes agreements already in place.
• Owns and operates site or regional planning models; ensures efficient use of information technology.
• Serves as a local site coordinator/planner for integration of internal demand, utilities or environmental operations.
• Monitors inventory levels and ensures volumes meet the plan.
• Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics and partners for unplanned events.
• Maintains production parameters and master data to support planning.
