The Caterpillar Mapleton Foundry in Mapleton, IL seeks an experienced SCM professional to develop and optimize processes for ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, and timely stock levels across manufacturing operations. You will manage IRA, lineside delivery, and coordination with internal customers to streamline planning and execution in a high-volume environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of IRA, DRP, and lineside material delivery.
• Experience with managing hourly employees in a unionized facility.

Aufgaben

• Further develop IRA program and lineside material delivery for all direct materials.
• Managing relationships with internal customers, coordinating and integrating planning processes.
• Developing and continuously improving the accuracy of logistical needs, including onsite storage capacity, equipment needs and resource needs.
• Setting up, maintaining, and monitoring logistical processes and dependencies, including BOMs, Routings and IRA.
