Job summary
Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Engineer to identify and develop business improvements and to evaluate ROI for opportunities. You will collaborate with internal partners to build optimized supply chains, link with suppliers, and analyze data to drive cost efficiency and performance.
Location options include Peoria, IL and Dallas, TX with up to 30% travel. Relocation is domestic and sponsorship is not offered.
Qualifications

- Strong analytical thinking with root-cause analysis.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Decision-making and problem-solving under uncertainty.
- Proficient in project management.
- Knowledge of SOPs and process optimization.
- Experience with supplier management in manufacturing.
- Understanding of supply chain management in manufacturing.

- Establish effective linkages, partnerships and best practices with business partners.
- Investigate benchmarks and metrics to develop optimal supply chains.
