Job summary

Caterpillar's Mapleton Foundry in Mapleton, IL seeks a Manager of Supply Chain Planning to establish and refine processes for a plan-for-every-part, IRA accuracy, and optimal stock levels required to manufacture and deliver at scale.

You will lead relationships with internal customers, coordinate planning, and improve material delivery, including BOMs, routings, and IRA, to support safe, efficient production on the 1st shift.

• Accuracy and attention to detail in planning and execution.
• Data gathering and analysis of inputs from multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of DRP and inventory management for multiple plants.
• Familiarity with BOMs, routings, and IRA processes.

Responsibilities

• Further develop IRA program and lineside material delivery for all direct materials.
• Managing relationships with internal customers, coordinating and integrating planning processes.
• Developing and continuously improving the accuracy of logistical needs, including onsite storage capacity, equipment needs and resource needs.
• Setting up, maintaining, and monitoring logistical processes and dependencies, including BOMs, routings and IRA.
