Sierra Nevada Corporation in Plano, TX is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager II to lead and optimize the supply chain operations aligned with program goals. You will manage a diverse team, develop material plans, and drive improvements to support the company’s objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 9+ years of experience in operations, and deep knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and ERP/P2P systems. A Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 9+ years of experience in operations or a related area.
• Relevant experience can substitute for the required educational qualifications; in the absence of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience is required.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• In-depth working knowledge of Commodity, Category and Sourcing Management.
• Background in manufacturing timelines and requirements.
• Ability to read and understand technical requirements.
• Excellent negotiations skills.
• Candidate must have Supply Chain Management skills.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of buyers, subcontracts management specialists, and category leads, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Continuously improve the supply base to support program and business area requirements.
• Develop and implement strategic material plans and forecasts to align with program demands.
• Partner with executive management, program management, and other departments to ensure supply chain activities meet company objectives.
• Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve supply chain risks and issues.
• Lead the discovery and implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Establish, track, and communicate key performance indicators to ensure supply chain visibility and goal achievement.
• Prepare and manage capital, contract equipment, and facility requests to meet program and company demands.
