Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager II to lead and optimize supply chain operations in support of high‑visibility programs within the IAS business area. You will manage a diverse team, develop material plans, and drive innovations to align with program needs and company goals.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of supply chain experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 9+ years of experience required.
• Experience substituting education with related experience is acceptable.
• Deep knowledge of procurement and supply chain principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of buyers, subcontract management specialists, and category leads.
• Continuously improve the supply base to meet program requirements.
• Develop and implement strategic material plans aligned with program demands.
• Partner with executive management and other departments to ensure supply chain alignment.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve supply chain risks and issues.
• Drive discovery and implementation of new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Establish, track, and communicate KPIs for supply chain visibility.
• Manage capital, contracts, and facility requests to meet program needs.
