Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to provide strategic leadership of the entire supply chain function. You will develop and implement supply chain strategies, optimize processes, and manage supplier relationships to ensure program success.

You will mentor a team, manage SSOWs and milestone payments, and collaborate with procurement, engineering and program management to meet cost, schedule and performance goals while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 11+ years in operations or related area; senior supply chain leadership experience.
• Extensive experience in subcontract management, SOW development, supplier negotiations, risk mitigation, and contract compliance.
• Strong knowledge of commodity, category, and sourcing management; ability to read technical requirements.
• Proficiency in developing business cases, negotiations, and program-level cost/schedule analysis.
• FAR/DFARS regulatory understanding and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Improve processes to reduce costs and support program goals.
• Mentor a high-performing supply chain team and foster innovation.
• Engage with suppliers, subcontractors and manage SSOWs, requirements, and milestone payments.
• Lead subcontract lifecycle from proposal to closeout; ensure cost, schedule and performance objectives.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; present plans to leadership and customers.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to maintain schedule integrity and optimize performance.
