Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) to lead supplier relationships, manage program-level procurement, and drive supply chain excellence for DoD-related programs. The role requires experience across the full product lifecycle and a strong foundation in DFSC initiatives.

The SCPM will supervise SCPCs and SCPM I, coordinate with engineering, operations, and subcontractors, and oversee risk, cost, and schedule performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in technical/engineering.
• 9+ years of experience in operations or related field.
• Deep knowledge of procurement processes and contract management.
• Experience across prototyping to sustainment in product cycles.
• Program management experience with supply chain and DoD exposure.
• DFSC initiatives knowledge including DPTC.
• EVMS/ERP/MRP experience.
• Strong communication and MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of SCPCs and SCPM I.
• Lead programmatic and technical meetings with subcontractors.
• Attend Program Reviews with subcontractors and request changes.
• Develop the Program-level Supply Chain Management Plan.
• Form effective teaming within the supply chain network.
• Create sourcing strategies and negotiate with suppliers.
• Identify alternate sources to enhance competition and leverage.
• Lead make/buy assessments from a SCM perspective.
• Coordinate between supply chain teams to ensure timely schedules and milestones.
• Provide supply chain status to internal and external customers.
