Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for its GEIS division in Reno, NV. This onsite role leads planning, procurement and inventory control to ensure on-time customer deliveries and optimal stock levels, working with supplier teams and senior management.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in manufacturing SCM, 2+ years planning (or 7 years planning), and ideally CPIM/CSCP/CPM, SAP experience, and bilingual skills. Relocation is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years of planning experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of people management experience OR seven (7) years of planning experience.
• CPIM/CSCP/CPM certification, SAP experience, LEAN, bilingual in Spanish/English are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct supply chain personnel in planning, scheduling, procurement, and inventory control to ensure on-time delivery.
• Serve as member of plant’s senior management and provide leadership for initiatives.
• Manage current and future demand with manufacturing and supplier capabilities.
• Ownership of the Production Plan from S&OP monthly process derived from the sales forecast.
• Analyze data and prepare managerial reports to facilitate actions for optimal SCM execution.
• Ensure SAP planning parameters are used to generate orders and balance inventory.
• Manage material cost and schedule impact of engineering changes and releases.
• Meet or exceed metrics on days on hand, inventory, on-time delivery, days payable, and cost savings.
• Ensure accurate physical inventory to fulfill orders while maintaining beneficial stock levels.
• Foster an environment aligned with Eaton’s SCM standards and continuous improvement.
• Support SCM strategic initiatives and develop functional capabilities through training.
