Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager I to lead the vision and day-to-day operations of its Supply Chain organization. You will work with project operations teams and suppliers to plan, coordinate, and execute procurement activities to meet project timelines and cost targets.

You will build sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and develop a high-performing team of buyers and purchasing agents while aligning with company objectives and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, construction management or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Minimum 12 years of experience.
• Proven success leading supply chain operations in complex environments including capacity planning, scheduling, supplier management, inventory optimization, and execution.
• Experience designing, implementing and leading S&OP/SIOP processes.
• Strong expertise in demand & supply planning, scheduling, and scenario-based planning.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing supply chain teams.
• Current driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop short and long-term sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Establish strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure contracts and cost, delivery, and productivity.
• Collaborate across functions to implement sourcing and continuous improvement strategies and engage stakeholders.
• Provide centralized leadership to procurement on project-specific activities and site-level procurement as needed.
• Develop the vision and focus areas for purchasing agents and buyers, with sourcing strategy.
• Foster teamwork and integration within Supply Chain to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Lead and coach team members, set priorities, and manage performance.
• Champion a customer-focused service orientation.
