Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Manager at the Jersey Shore, PA site to lead procurement, production planning, warehouse operations and ERP data integrity. The role focuses on delivering on-time, cost-effective supply chain performance and will guide teams while coordinating with regional planners.

Responsibilities include S&OP participation, master production scheduling, VMI programs, and driving Lean/Six Sigma improvements in a cGMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or Business.
• Master's Degree MBA preferred.
• APICS Certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP and planning software (e.g., SAP SCM, JDA/Red Prairie).
• Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop production plans with Regional Planner and direct plant personnel in execution of approved plans.
• Direct teams that develop and execute production, inventory, and material plans.
• Adhere to monthly S&OP schedule and participate in required meetings.
• Collaborate with regional planner and demand analyst to balance capacity and lead-times.
• Aggregate plant Master Production Schedule and incorporate forecast and market demand.
• Oversee vendor managed inventory programs (VMI).
• Lead RCCP for key resources to ensure plan achievability.
• Support raw material sourcing programs for optimal inventory and cash flow.
• Manage customer order cycle and communications between plants, HQ and customer.
