Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. in North Carolina seeks a Sr. Manager, Production to lead the manufacturing of all products at the local facility.

They will coordinate three production areas—Compounding, Molding/Trimming, Finishing—and drive lean improvements, quality, safety, and cost performance with cross-functional teams. The role reports to the Sr. Director Operations and requires strong leadership, extensive manufacturing experience, and a track record of delivering production schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Applied Sciences.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in a senior manufacturing role.
• 7+ years in manufacturing leadership within rubber or pharmaceutical operations; strong LEAN and Six Sigma knowledge; experience in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and direct the manufacturing of all products at the site.
• Ensure production schedules are met and optimize operations across Compounding, Molding/Trimming, and Finishing.
• Use business systems to analyze production capacity and implement productivity improvements.
• Plan labor and equipment resources with department managers to meet demand.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve service, and manage inventory.
