Job summary

Our Client, a U.S. branch of a European technology group, seeks a senior supply chain leader in New Jersey to drive end-to-end operations from procurement to logistics.

You will coordinate across sales, manufacturing, finance, and global sourcing to optimize supplier performance and deliver on key metrics. The role emphasizes cost reduction, inventory health, and continuous improvement, with a focus on building and developing a high-performing procurement and planning team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor required; Master’s preferred in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in supply chain management or optimization; at least 3 years in leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, demand planning, production planning, logistics, and inventory management.
• Experience in strategic and operational purchasing, supplier negotiations, and supplier management.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data governance; analytical, ownership, and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, demand planning, and logistics.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with business objectives with cross-functional teams.
• Manage and optimize supplier base, including selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Lead negotiations with key suppliers and establish contracts for favorable pricing and continuity.
• Drive cost reduction across material, logistics, inventory, and lead times.
• Oversee inventory, demand, and production planning to align with customer demand and capacity.
• Monitor KPIs for delivery performance, on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and cost savings.
• Participate in S&OP to improve forecasting accuracy and cross-department alignment.
• Ensure accurate ERP data and data governance; coach and develop procurement and planning teams.
