Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain for Datacenter Compute Infrastructure (Starlink) to lead a team sourcing GPUs, CPUs, storage, and servers for AI training clusters.

You will define commodity strategies, align roadmaps with engineering and vendors, and secure supply while optimizing cost, quality, speed and resilience. The role requires 10+ years in supply chain with 4+ years of people management and a track record in hyperscale infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 14+ years of experience in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering.
• 8+ years in global supply chain, procurement, or commodity management focusing on compute hardware.
• 4+ years of people management.
• 4+ years building and leading sourcing teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sourcing team for GPUs, CPUs, storage, ODM/CM, servers and racks.
• Define commodity strategies and multi-year roadmaps with engineering and platform teams.
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier qualification, multi-sourcing and performance management.
• Coordinate demand across SpaceXAI companies and align roadmaps with key vendors.
• Negotiate major agreements focusing on pricing, volume, technology access, and reliable delivery.
• Manage ODM/CM relationships and improve server/rack design, cost and delivery.
• Monitor supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans for critical components.
• Drive cost reduction via should-cost modeling, value engineering and long-term agreements.
• Track team KPIs and report to senior leadership.
