Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain - Datacenter Compute Infrastructure (Starlink) to build and lead a team responsible for sourcing GPUs, CPUs, storage, ODM/CM relationships, servers, and racks for large-scale AI infrastructure. You will define multi-year roadmaps, secure supply, and optimize cost, quality, and delivery while collaborating with engineering and vendors.

The role requires a strong people leader with deep compute hardware sourcing expertise and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or commodity management.
• 3+ years of experience in people management.
• 3+ years building, leading, and managing sourcing teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sourcing team for datacenter compute components.
• Define commodity strategies and multi-year roadmaps with engineering and vendors.
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier qualification, and multi-sourcing to meet aggressive build schedules.
• Align internal roadmaps with key vendors to secure capacity and preferential allocation.
• Negotiate major agreements focusing on pricing, volume, and delivery.
• Manage ODM/CM relationships and drive improvements in server and rack designs and cost.
• Monitor supply risks and implement mitigation plans for critical components.
• Drive cost reduction via should-cost modeling and long-term agreements while maintaining quality.
• Track KPIs and report to senior leadership; foster cross-functional collaboration.
