Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Manager of Supply Chain for Datacenter Compute Infrastructure (Starlink) to lead a team responsible for GPUs, CPUs, storage, and servers.

You will shape commodity strategies and align roadmaps with engineering and vendors to secure supply for AI training clusters and compute facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of related experience with 8+ years in global supply chain for compute hardware.
• 4+ years of people management and 4+ years building sourcing teams.
• Experience with GPUs, CPUs, storage and servers in a hyperscale or AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sourcing team for GPUs, CPUs, storage, ODM/CM, servers and racks.
• Define commodity strategies and multi-year roadmaps with engineering and vendors.
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier qualification, multi-sourcing, and performance management.
• Orchestrate demand across SpaceXAI entities and align roadmaps with vendors for capacity.
• Negotiate major agreements focusing on pricing, volume, tech access, and reliable delivery.
• Manage ODM/CM relationships and drive server/rack cost and design improvements.
• Monitor supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans for critical components.
• Drive cost reduction via should-cost modeling and long-term agreements while maintaining quality.
• Track KPIs and provide updates to senior leadership.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and promote best practices across the organization.
