Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company is seeking a Supplier Development Reliability Engineer to drive reliability improvements for equipment, tooling, and processes. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to design, implement, and sustain high-uptime solutions across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities include leading failure analyses, guiding maintenance strategies, and driving continuous improvement across supplier-related development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline with hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and reliability engineering.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing equipment or reliability-focused engineering support.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project timelines/budgets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reduce risk using FMEA, PFMEA, DFMEA and related analyses.
• Develop and support reliability strategies for critical equipment and processes including preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects focusing on uptime, cost, and long-term supportability.
• Mentor engineers and designers and interface with customers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
