Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field with 6+ years experience, or Master’s with 4+ years.
• Experience with supplier quality management systems and auditing.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
• Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspections.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage suppliers.
• Ability to travel to supplier locations for on-site assessments.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Experience driving quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supplier selection and evaluation to meet quality requirements.
• Monitor supplier quality metrics and performance.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans with suppliers.
• Provide technical guidance to suppliers on quality systems.
• Collaborate with engineering on new product introductions to ensure design quality.
• Review and approve supplier First Article Inspections (AS9102).
• Oversee incoming inspection procedures and material checks.
• Perform source inspections at supplier facilities.
• Investigate non-conforming products and drive supplier corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data and generate supplier performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior quality engineers in supplier quality management.
