Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field plus 10 years in supplier quality or related roles in aerospace/regulated industries.
• Thorough knowledge of AS9100 QMS requirements.
• Experience conducting supplier audits, assessments, source inspections, and verification activities.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, contracts, POs, and technical requirements.
• Experience with RCCA, containment, preventive actions, and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate quality metrics and trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality assurance activities ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Manage supplier qualification, approval, and ongoing performance monitoring (ASL).
• Define and approve quality flow-downs for purchased products/services.
• Conduct supplier audits and surveillance to verify compliance.
• Perform source inspections and verify purchased products and services.
• Review supplier documentation and quality data for compliance.
• Establish supplier quality KPIs and dashboards; report to leadership.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and program teams.
• Coordinate containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Manage SCARs and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Monitor nonconformances, trends, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop quality procedures, work instructions, and processes.
• Support strategic quality initiatives and supplier development programs.
