Saab, Inc. in Bristol, RI is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join a dynamic team supporting AUS system development. The role offers growth, a competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits.

You will lead and implement program quality plans, approve suppliers and deviations, perform audits, and interface with customers to ensure quality and risk objectives are met. A strong background in ISO 9001/AS9100 and DoD familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, or a related field with 7+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive and lead change.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems per ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if required.

Responsibilities

• Support programs as the Quality representative.
• Establish, maintain, and implement program quality plans.
• Provide Quality Clauses for Purchase Requisitions.
• Approve suppliers for assigned programs.
• Review program documents from a quality and risk perspective.
• Perform internal release and final inspections before deliveries.
• Approve shipping requests for assigned programs.
• Approve deviations and waivers from suppliers and internally.
• Serve as customer interface for assigned programs (Quality).
• Lead customer-driven Corrective Action Requests to closure.
• Lead Quality Cost Account Manager for assigned programs.
• Conduct internal, supplier, site, project, and quality audits.
• Report quality status to customers and Quality Manager.
