Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Dynamic Aerospace Supplier Quality Engineer to elevate supplier quality and drive innovation in the supply chain at our East Hartford site. You will lead engagement with suppliers, perform quality assessments, and push for best-in-class performance in a fast-paced environment.

The selected Lead SQE will support the Turbine Airfoil Casting Team within the Hot Section Module Center, guiding supplier quality improvements and mentoring junior SQEs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Defense, Automotive or other heavily-regulated industry.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; alternative HS diploma + 12+ years accepted.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Suppliers’ Quality and Operations Management to resolve production challenges.
• Work with suppliers to meet Pratt & Whitney quality requirements and improve delivery and service.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
