Job summary

Pratt & Whitney seeks a Dynamic Aerospace Supplier Quality Engineer to elevate supplier quality, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with top-tier suppliers to deliver impeccable components for the aerospace industry.

You will work with engineering, procurement, and operations to resolve production challenges, conduct supplier wellness assessments, and lead corrective actions while mentoring junior SQEs. Onsite role in East Hartford, CT with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain in regulated industries.
• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or Associate’s with 10+ years.
• High School diploma or technical/military training with 12+ years of experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Suppliers’ Quality and Operations teams to resolve production challenges.
• Help suppliers meet Pratt & Whitney quality requirements for best-in-class quality, delivery and service.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and lead corrective action programs (VCAB).
• Analyze data in PW QLIK dashboards and SAP to drive process improvements at suppliers.
• Support escape investigations and implement robust corrective actions.
