Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for the Machining & Fabrication Product Center. You will partner with suppliers to ensure affordable, high-quality parts for aerospace programs, and you will drive proactive quality improvements across supplier processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with advanced degree.
• Experience with AS9100 and ISO 9000 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements across the board in escape management, standard work, and best practices.
• Coordinate quality issues with PW Engineering and Supplier Engineering to resolve supplier escapes and improve quality signature.
• Support VCAB reviews and establish VCABs with critical suppliers and initiate improvement projects.
