Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with five or more years (bachelor) or three or more years (master) of related experience.
• Detailed understanding of inspection methods and computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk analysis of assigned suppliers and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Conduct supplier QA assessments and onboarding reviews.
• Review and approve product compliance documentation against order requirements.
• Validate procurement quality requirements with suppliers.
• Manage SCAR process to ensure containment and corrective actions.
• Identify design or manufacturing changes to improve products and cost.
• Develop methods for inspecting, testing and evaluating products and equipment.
• Audit supplier quality management systems for deficiencies and implement corrective solutions.
• Communicate and present quality issues to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
