General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the planning, scheduling, and oversight of production processes for efficient fabrication of parts and assemblies.

The candidate will design production operation sequences, collaborate with design engineering on specifications, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while maintaining robust records and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and five or more years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Ideal candidate has exposure to welding, fabrication and machining.
  • Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace manufacturing or industrial engineering is desired.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing/engineering concepts with safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Supports planning, scheduling, implementation, and oversight of new or revised production processes.
  • Designs production operation sequences and adapts machinery to manufacturing needs.
  • Collaborates with design engineering on specifications to optimize equipment use.
  • Maintains records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations.
