Job summary
General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) in Acton, MA, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team. You will analyze design reliability, develop inspection methods, and ensure quality programs across aerospace projects.
Responsibilities include auditing quality systems, preparing statistical reports, and coordinating with engineering and manufacturing to meet customer requirements. A bachelor's or master's in engineering and 5+ years of related experience are preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of related quality engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of inspection methods and quality standards.
- Experience with AS9100/9102, AS478N, IPC-610/620 and MIL standards.
- Ability to interpret government regulations and customer requirements.
- Security clearance (Secret or higher) desirable.
- Experience with clean room environments is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Analyze design reliability and quality to recommend process changes.
- Develop and implement inspection and testing procedures.
- Audit quality systems and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare statistical analysis reports and technical documents.
- Review manufacturing build books for assemblies and systems.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards.
