Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality and drive improvements across the supply chain. You will resolve complex supplier issues, validate processes, and ensure timely corrective actions with robust documentation.

You will work closely with plant teams, perform PPAP activities, and monitor quarantined materials to minimize aging and delays, while contributing to overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in supplier quality or quality function.
• Manufacturing knowledge for mechanical components.
• Experience with 8D, PPAP, QMS, and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Own corrective action processes with suppliers, including 8D follow-up and root cause validation.
• Ensure containment, correction and mitigation plans with clear timelines and accountability.
• Coordinate RMA processes and supplier returns to avoid delays.
• Monitor supplier-related quarantined material and quick disposition.
• Perform PPAP approvals including documentation review and dimensional validations.
• Track and document supplier quality issues and drive closure with urgency.
