Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to act as the technical expert for the supply chain, leading quality operations and solving complex supplier challenges. You will own corrective actions, PPAP approvals, containment plans, and supplier performance improvements to ensure material quality and process stability.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with plant teams to drive urgent, accountable outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
5+ years in supplier quality or quality function.
Mechanical components manufacturing knowledge.
Experience with 8D, Problem solving tools, PPAP, QMS, Auditing.

Responsibilities

Own corrective action processes with suppliers, including 8D follow-up and root cause validation.
Ensure containment, correction and mitigation plans with clear timelines and accountability.
Coordinate RMA processes and supplier return authorizations to avoid delays.
Monitor supplier-related quarantined material and disposition timing.
Perform PPAP approvals, including documentation review and dimensional validations.
Track and document supplier quality issues and drive timely closures.
Build relationships with plant teams for fast decision-making and alignment.
Continuously assess supplier performance and drive improvements.
