Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Avon, Ohio is seeking a Supervisor, Supplier Quality Development to lead supplier quality initiatives across SMF, IC, PPAP and APQP processes.

This role oversees audits, supplier development, and cross-functional collaboration with plant quality and engineering to drive continuous improvement and on-time problem resolution for NA region suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/Science/Industrial Management is required.
• Automotive/truck industry experience is preferred.
• VDA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement and development activities for supplier quality across NA region (US, Canada, Mexico, etc.).
• Oversee APQP/PPAP activities for new products and transitions.
• Conduct supplier audits and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, group, plant buyers, quality, and engineering to resolve issues.
• Manage direct reports and ensure timely completion of tasks and priorities.
• Support supplier development and audits within SMF, IC and other categories.
