Job summary
Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Avon, OH seeks a Supervisor, Product Quality Engineering to drive advanced quality planning and lead QA engineers across electronics, software, and mechatronics for trailer products. Travel up to 15% domestically/globally.
Responsibilities include leading corrective actions, risk assessments, and ensuring product robustness to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering with related experience.
- ISO 9001 TS16949 knowledge and software development techniques (ISO26262, ASPICE).
- 5–8 years in quality, electrical or mechanical engineering environments.
- PMP certification strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Coach and lead Product Quality Engineering Specialists in an Agile environment.
- Lead teams to identify risks and mitigations for hardware/software projects.
- Support PDC Gate process and quality review from feasibility to launch.
- Utilize DFMEA, hazard analysis and fault tree analysis to ensure product safety.
