Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Avon, OH is seeking a Supervisor, Supplier Quality Development to lead supplier quality activities for stamping, machining, and forging processes. You will drive APQP, audits, and continuous improvement with North American suppliers, coordinating with plants, quality, and engineering teams.

The role requires strong Six Sigma and 8D problem-solving skills, plus experience with AIAG modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Science/Industrial Management or equivalent.
• Automotive/Truck industry experience is preferred.
• VDA certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Experience with AIAG modules such as PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement and development activities with Bendix NA suppliers.
• Oversee supplier APQP for new products and transitions.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and product audits.
• Act as liaison between suppliers, group, plant buyers, and engineering.
• Supervise direct reports and ensure issue resolution on time.
