Job summary

You will drive operational excellence, shape strategic supplier programs, and ensure supplier performance meets quality, cost, and delivery targets.

You’ll mentor engineers and professionals, collaborate cross-functionally with Sourcing, Engineering, and Quality, and travel to supplier sites to ensure readiness and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• 6+ years in supplier development or related leadership role.
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma and quality control.
• Engineering background in Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a supplier development strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of supplier development engineers and professionals.
• Establish and enforce supplier performance standards with regular assessments.
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify improvements for quality and reliability.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sourcing, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Production.
• Travel to multiple locations within the continental US and globally to meet suppliers.
