Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minnesota is seeking a senior leader for Supplier Development Engineering. The role focuses on proactive supplier capability reviews, RCCA investigations, and collaboration with sourcing, engineering, and customers to improve product quality and delivery.

You will drive continuous improvement projects and mentor teams to elevate supplier performance. The candidate will manage cross-functional engagement, lead lifecycle supplier development, and ensure robust change

Qualifications

• 8+ years combined experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with production readiness & rate readiness reviews/assessments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with project management and Kaizen facilitation.
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of leadership.
• Proven problem-solving skills with data interpretation and action implementation.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement projects and events to streamline supplier performance.
• Collaborate with Global Sourcing leaders on supplier/engineering changes, capacity studies, and NPI transitions.
• Research external market information to identify potential suppliers and drive qualification processes.
• Assess supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity, and fulfillment.
• Drive improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and supplier scorecards.
• Track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across the supply base.
• Provide technical support for complex parts and assemblies during manufacturing.
