You will lead multiple accounting projects, supervise processes, and ensure accuracy and timeliness. A strong background in management company accounting, outsourcing, and Excel proficiency is essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years business accounting experience, ideally within a Management Company function.
• Experience with outsourced accounting providers, private equity management companies, or similar client-facing roles is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to design spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform cash transaction processing and banking reconciliations.
• Perform fixed asset and prepaid expense accounting.
• Perform payroll accounting with reconciliations to payroll records.
• Participate in accounts payable, reviewing invoices and journal entries.
• Contribute to monthly close with journal entries for accruals and equity activities.
• Prepare financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Interface with client finance teams (CFO/Controller).
• Assist with Form 1099 process and new client setup.
• Complete ad-hoc projects; liaise with auditors and tax accountants.
