Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, a leading tech-enabled Private Equity Fund Administrator, is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join our growing team in New York. You will gain exposure to the full private equity fund lifecycle, including new launches across sports, energy, real estate, and credit, while driving process improvements and expanding your expertise.

Qualifications

Must have working knowledge of consolidations with non-controlling interest.
Must have working knowledge of realized and unrealized waterfall allocations.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a private equity fund accounting position.

Responsibilities

Examine and analyze accounting records for accuracy and conformance to reporting standards.
Review work-papers, prepare call and distribution letters, calculate carried interest, allocate profits and losses per governing agreements, including special allocations.
Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements with footnotes.
Analyze investment documents and set up investment structures including holding companies, AIVs and blockers.
Calculate current and deferred tax expense/benefit and related tax assets/liabilities.
Train new employees and assist with new fund transition and set up.
