Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial projects in San Diego, CA. You will oversee self-performed and trade contractor work, ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with contract documents and schedule.

You will develop, update, and communicate the project schedule, lead multi-disciplinary meetings, manage logistics, and mentor staff to build a high-performance team while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders on site.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience.
• 10+ years of experience on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• 4+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Experience building high-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Manage self-performed and subcontracted work with safety and quality.
• Develop, update, and communicate the project schedule.
• Lead multi-disciplinary meetings to align on schedule and priorities.
• Mentor and develop project team to build a high-functioning group.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and represent the company professionally on site.
