Job summary

MPI is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead large ground-up multifamily construction in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on safety, schedule discipline, and high-quality delivery across multi-project portfolios.

You will coordinate MEP/FP and trades, guide field teams, and drive closeout with owners and partners. A strong people-first culture and clear growth pathways are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ground-up multifamily experience on large-scale projects.
• Ability to coordinate MEP/FP, structure, envelope, and interiors.
• Strong leadership and clear communication with field crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite activities for large ground-up multifamily projects ranging from $30M-$60M+.
• Manage detailed look-ahead schedules and trade coordination.
• Conduct daily safety audits and enforce standards.
• Oversee site logistics including utilities, crane picks, deliveries, laydown, and jobsite flow.
• Run daily and weekly meetings with subcontractors to align sequencing and milestones.
• Lead quality control through inspections, punch management, and attention to detail.
• Coordinate MEP/FP systems with trade partners and support commissioning.
• Maintain relationships with owners, design partners, inspectors, and field teams.
• Document progress with daily reports and photos.
• Drive project closeout including punchlist burn-down, turnover planning, and warranty support.
