Job summary

Michael Page US seeks an experienced Superintendent for Ohio, overseeing multi-family, mixed-use, education, health care and retail projects with private-sector backlog. The role emphasizes coordinating owners, architects, and engineers, managing schedules, budgets, and safety, and growing into broader leadership roles.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in building construction, strong procurement and field-management skills, OSHA 30, and a track record of delivering complex projects

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of building construction experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of general and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Residential or Multifamily experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison with owners/architects/engineers for daily construction activities.
• Develop and implement project schedules, identifying the critical path and expediting materials.
• Review and resolve subcontractor schedule impacts and productivity claims.
• Manage performance related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality, and staffing.
• Document field issues affecting budget/quality/schedule and prepare RFIs.
• Oversee trades to ensure coordinated project operation and resolve site issues.
• Ensure permits and insurance are current and maintained on the project.
• Assist in General Conditions to maintain the project budget and compliance with contract documents.
• Demonstrate trust and growth by supporting team development.
