Job summary

Stoa Group is hiring a Lead Superintendent to oversee field execution for a 312-unit multifamily project in Fayetteville, NC. You will coordinate MEP trades, inspections, and subcontractors from open wall through insulation, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality standards.

You’ll work with the Lead Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Project Manager to keep progress on track, emphasize safety practices, and uphold Stoa’s quality expectations across large-scale wood-frame communities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or residential construction.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing active field operations.
• Strong understanding of MEP, open wall sequencing, inspections, and jobsite execution.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, submittals, and scopes of work.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and jobsite safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the middle-phase construction work, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Coordinate MEP trades, inspections, and related subcontractor work to maintain flow.
• Manage open wall documentation and coordinate with Lead Superintendent, AP, and PM.
• Ensure work progresses per schedule and that materials are available for upcoming activities.
• Maintain field documentation in Procore and communicate status, challenges, and solutions.
