Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site construction for commercial and multifamily projects in the Minneapolis area. You will manage day-to-day activities, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across multiple teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of on-site leadership experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with construction management tools like Procore or Buildertrend.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction leadership roles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or Buildertrend.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain clear communication and resolve issues proactively.
• Coordinate and supervise all field staff and subcontractor work, ensuring compliance with design plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to project timelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, schedules, safety logs, and punch lists.
