Job summary

Build People is partnering with a South Florida General Contractor to recruit a Senior Superintendent for a multi-billion-dollar luxury mixed-use development on Brickell Key in Miami. You will lead on-site operations, ensure safety, schedule, and budget, and coordinate trade partners with the Project Executive and PM team.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of superintendent experience on large high-rise or luxury projects, with Procore/Primavera and OSHA 30.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
• Proven ability delivering large-scale high-rise residential, luxury condo, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial projects.
• Experience leading projects valued at $100M+ with large trade partners and field teams.
• Strong understanding of concrete structures, vertical construction, site logistics, scheduling, and quality management.
• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling software.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, look-ahead plans, and site logistics strategies.

• Lead daily subcontractor coordination meetings and drive accountability across all trades.
• Maintain exceptional safety performance and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
• Ensure high-quality control through regular inspections and proactive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, consultants, and ownership representatives.
• Identify and resolve constructability, sequencing, and scheduling challenges.

Brickell Key, Miami, FLBuild People is partnering with one of South Florida's leading General Contractors to recruit an experienced Senior Superintendent for one of the most prestigious construction projects currently underway in Miami—a multi-billion-dollar luxury mixed-use development on Brickell Key. This landmark waterfront development will redefine luxury living in South Florida and offers the opportunity to lead construction on one of the region's most complex and high-profile projects. We're seeking an exceptional field leader with experience delivering large-scale high-rise developments who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Role

As Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading all on-site construction operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will oversee field teams, coordinate trade partners, and work closely with the Project Executive and Project Management team to drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for assigned phases of a multi-billion-dollar luxury mixed-use development.


• Manage and mentor Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and trade partners.


• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, look-ahead plans, and site logistics strategies.


• Coordinate structural, architectural, MEP, façade, and interior construction activities.


• Lead daily subcontractor coordination meetings and drive accountability across all trades.


• Maintain exceptional safety performance and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.


• Ensure the highest levels of quality control through regular inspections and proactive issue resolution.


• Work collaboratively with Project Managers, architects, engineers, consultants, and ownership representatives.


• Identify and resolve constructability, sequencing, and scheduling challenges before they impact project delivery.


• Support commissioning, inspections, punch list completion, and project turnover.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.


• Proven success delivering large-scale high-rise residential, luxury condominium, mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial projects.


• Experience leading projects valued at $100M+ with multiple trade partners and large field teams.


• Strong understanding of concrete structures, vertical construction, site logistics, scheduling, and quality management.


• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling software.


• OSHA 30 certification required.


• Outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
