Job summary

Build People is partnering with a premier South Florida General Contractor to recruit a Project Manager II for a multi-billion-dollar luxury mixed-use development on Brickell Key in Miami. You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and client relationships on a high-profile project from construction through completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience with a General Contractor managing commercial construction projects.
  • Experience on high-rise residential, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, or large-scale urban developments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience using Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead RFIs, submittals, procurement, contract administration, and document control.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, architects, and engineering teams.
  • Partner with Superintendents to ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Build strong relationships with ownership, design teams, and trade partners.
  • Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, contract requirements, and safety regulations.

Job description

Brickell Key, Miami, FL Build People is partnering with one of South Florida's premier General Contractors to recruit a Project Manager II for one of the most prestigious construction projects currently underway in Miami a multi-billion-dollar luxury mixed-use development on Brickell Key.
This is a unique opportunity to join an elite project team delivering an iconic waterfront development that will redefine the Miami skyline. Working alongside some of the industry's best construction professionals, you'll play a key role in managing a complex, high-profile project from construction through completion.

The Role

As Project Manager II, you'll be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of major project scopes by managing budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and client relationships while working closely with the Project Executive, Senior Project Managers, and field leadership.
This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager looking to take the next step on one of the largest and most technically challenging developments in South Florida.
