Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent to provide on-site leadership for advanced manufacturing projects across the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience with significant field leadership
• 5+ years as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent
• Experience delivering cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor facilities, or advanced manufacturing projects
• Strong knowledge of technically complex MEP systems, process piping, controls, and commissioning
• Experience in active manufacturing, laboratory, or occupied technical environments
• OSHA 30 certification and First Aid/CPR preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Manage field operations for cleanroom, lab, semiconductor, and advanced manufacturing projects
• Develop and maintain project schedules, site logistics, sequencing, and short-term look-ahead schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, equipment, and manpower to meet milestones
• Partner with Project Manager to develop project plans and resolve schedule and constructability concerns
• Oversee complex MEP systems, process utilities, and life-safety systems
• Lead punch-list, commissioning, and owner-acceptance processes
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field staff; maintain client relationships
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality-control procedures
